VATICAN CITY - Pope Benedict XVI has reasserted the primacy of the Roman Catholic Church, approving a document released Tuesday that says that other Christian communities are either defective or not true churches and that Catholicism provides the only true path to salvation.
The Pope also reminds the public that the Church has been granted sole and exclusive rights to the word GOD through an assertion of "executive privilege" by the highest authority. Use of the word for private prayers, on coins and currency, in court proceedings, swearing-in ceremonies, pledges of allegiance, pre-game team meetings and other such applications is expressly prohibited without prior written permission and royalty fee arrangements, which fees shall be doubled for usage in profanity and/or obscenity-laced rants and tirades.
